What is the difference between the new BT578 V2 and the old BT578?

The new BT578(BT578V2) is upgraded and optimized for the old product, and can directly replace the old BT578, but it is still somewhat different from the old one.

1. On the basis of retaining the old Bluetooth SPP serial communication function, the new model adds support for the new generation Bluetooth LE, which can be used to connect to Android and iOS mobile phones or tablet via BLE. (SPP and BLE can't be used at the same time)

2. The new model can't be used as a Bluetooth master, it can only be used as a Bluetooth slave role. For customers who want a BT578 master connect to a BT578 slave, please purchase IRXON BT580 serial Bluetooth adapter.

3. The stop bit of the new model serial port can only be one bit and cannot be changed.

4. The green LED of new model is used as serial data(TXD, RXD) indicator LED,  user can observe the data activity of the serial port through the green LED.

5. The AT command format has been adjusted on the new model, there is no need to append a return and line feed at the end of AT command.

6. The new model has a built-in amplifier, the communication distance is several times longer than the old one.
