A good Android APP for BT578 or BT578V2

The APP is named "Serial Bluetooth Terminal", it can use both Bluetooth serial port SPP and Bluetooth BLE to communicate with BT578 V2 adapter in Android system. The following is an example of communication between Android phones and BT578 V2.

Firstly install the app from Google Play, or download from this link: https://pan.baidu.com/s/1oL1dJZUZZz-hLqxHK1O1FA (download code: 1234).

The APP icon is as below after installation:



Entering the app, tap the mark in the upper left corner of the APP main interface, and then tap the second option <Devices> in the next interface.





After entering <Devices>, you can see two columns, the left is <BLUETOOTH CLASSIC>, and the right is <BLUETOOTH LE>.
Let's take BT578V2 connect to a computer serial port as an example to introduce how to use the APP.
Firstly, connect the BT578V2 to the computer serial port and turn on the power of BT578V2.



1. Bluetooth communication with BT578 V2 via Bluetooth SPP protocol.

In the BLUETOOTH CLASSIC column, click the gear icon in the upper right corner to search and pair with BT578_SPP .







Input default password "1234", click "pair", and then return to the data communication interface of the app.






Enter strings in input area and send, the serial monitor software on the computer will get the strings, and vice versa.








2. Bluetooth communication with BT578 V2 via Bluetooth BLE protocol.

Tap this icon on the app to disconnect from the BT578_SPP.



Tap <BLUETOOTH LE> column, and then click the <SCAN> in the upper right corner to search for surrounding Bluetooth BLE devices.





After BT578_BLE was found, tap it to make a BLE connection, enter strings in input area and send, the serial monitor software on the computer will get the strings, and vice versa.
